Primary Objectives for the Head of Productization:
Analyse market opportunities and communicate key insights to help shape our overall strategy
Work closely with the CTO and VP of engineering to provide business insight and customer voice at all stages of product planning and development
Drive product teams through the development lifecycle, while simultaneously working across design, engineering, marketing and sales to offer launch excellence
Define customer scenarios and key performance indicators ensuring engineering commitment and execution of product plans
Develop and deliver qualitative and quantitative concept value testing programs and research
Articulate market requirements, research and plans to the product team to ensure they are effectively leveraged
Develop a solutions blueprint that allows us to realise the full potential of our core technologies and capabilities
Develop relevant programs to ensure the success of our products, sales and marketing teams
Develop and maintain category and competitive outlooks
Be the thought leader to champion “the mind of the customer” outlooks
Your success will be measured by your ability to understand the insights necessary for market success
Flexible Working Hours:
Composition of hours and days per week to be negotiated with the successful candidate.
The ideal Candidate Has:
- 10 + years technology industry experience in Product Management/Planning/Roadmapping for global enterprise software products
3+ years experience in Product Management/Planning/Roadmapping for businesses that combine hardware and software
4+ years experience in Product Management/Planning for storage related businesses
Demonstrated ability to solve complex business challenges with clear, integrated product strategies
A proven track record in Value Proposition and Business Case Development
A comprehensive understanding of Competitive Intelligence and Strategy
The ability to create effective plans and consensus in the presence of ambiguity, conflicting priority and diverging opinions
The ability to develop strong working relationships and interactions with customers, partners, senior executives, sales and technical leaders
A strategic thinker with a customer focused mentality and tireless tenacity
A creative persuasive storyteller who is endlessly curious
Be able to challenge everything that you know, shred it to bits and pieces and put it all back together, better and improved!
