We’re looking for connectivity developers to join us with knowledge and experience in data structures, algorithms and pragmatic program design. A meticulous approach to solving complex problems, with emphasis on simplicity and stability will be key to this role.
The majority of our connectivity systems are written in C++ on Linux, and experience with C++11 or later is a requirement. Experience with socket programming, Git, and the Linux command line environment is an advantage. It’ll be beneficial for you to also have an understanding of derivatives trading, equities trading, or risk management systems, but this is not absolutely essential.
As part of the Connectivity team you’ll be:
- Contributing code to live trading systems;
- Investigating and resolving problems and providing general support for the software built by your team in production;
- Participating in code reviews, technical design and discussions;
- Communicating with different departments to elicit requirements; and
- Exposed to the interfaces that our manual and algorithmic trading processes use to communicate with markets.
