Silvercar is adding an experienced Backend Developer to our Dealerware team. Dealerware (a division of Silvercar) is the worlds first fully digital, fully connected Service Loaner Management platform. Dealerware works with dealerships across North America to automate the most time-consuming tasks related to loaner expense management while enhancing the customer experience with a completely digital, paperless process. Through Dealerware, our dealership customers recover loaner related costs instantly, maximize their productivity, and elevate their customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate within a full-stack SCRUM team, with a focus on developing features with Ruby on Rails
Design and build RESTful APIs for internal and external use
Create and maintain scalable infrastructure leveraging modern AWS products, containerization, and auto-scaling
Develop pipelines in our CI/CD systems
Qualifications/KSAs
2+ years Ruby on Rails development experience building RESTful JSON APIs
2+ years of experience with multiple system programming languages and tools (i.e. Python, Go, Bash,
Terraform, etc.)
Grok your CI (jenkins, etc) and source control tools (git)
Live and breathe scalable infrastructure
Make things work, get things done and are a great communicator
Take your work seriously, but you dont take yourself too seriously
Enjoy mentoring others and leading by example
Love to learn new things and can do so quickly
