JP Morgans Electronic Trading Technology's connectivity group is seeking a strong C++ developer to join the team to build/enhance the low latency connectivity platform that provides to client a true multi-asset ultra-low latency market access.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Understanding of architecture and design across all systemssuch as multithreading, object-oriented development, TCP/IP
Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
Proficiency of C++11 onwards. Template and generic programming, multi-threaded / concurrent programming
Strong Unix knowledge, Low Latency high thru put systems, Connectivity(FIX) experience and Scripting skills ( Shell/Perl/Python)
Knowledge of market data distribution and order management system
Familiar with all phases of SDLC (unit testing, automatic build and release, peer-review, Jenkins, Jira, GNU Make / Cmake)
Familiar with Linux/Unix, understands the OS and kernel architecture, Python and Pearl is plus
Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
