Our ideal candidate would have experience developing in Node.js, but additional Java or Python experience is a plus.
The Node.js Engineer will be responsible for development of new and existing features. This engineer will work alongside our Sr leaders to understand and help guide the overall direction of the application at hand.
Required Experience:
-3-5 years of professional software development experience
-2+ years of hands-on Node.js or Python experience in a professional environment
-Experience with APIs
-Experience building complex data sets and full stack development
-Fundamentals in object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
-Ability to complete work following engineering standards and best practices
-Develops clean, elegant, well-commented and reusable code which is easy to maintain and extend
-Ability to debug programs and assist team members overcome technical problems
-REST API integrations
-Ability to operate in Agile / Scrum development environments
