Machine Learning Engineer at Quest Groups LLC (Austin, TX)

Machine Learning Scientist - ASR and AI exp is a plus.

We are seeking experienced Applied ML/AI Scientists with strong background in Automatic Speech Recognition and solid Software Engineering skills to join our Speech Processing effort.

The ideal candidate will have practical experience in developing speech recognition systems and strong expertise in neural networks and representation/deep learning.

Experience in neural network based acoustic and language modeling with OSS toolkits such as Kaldi, Torch, TensorFlow, Torch, Cafe, Keras or Theano is a plus.

Requirements: 
- BSc, MSc or PhD degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of neural network based modeling
- Experience building systems based on machine learning and/or deep learning methods
- Knowledge developing and debugging skills in e.g. C/C++, Java, Python, Lua, Scala (for Spark) or Julia
- Experience with filesystems, server architectures, and distributed systems
