This is a National IT position responsible for assessing and developing complex business solutions based on available cloud technology solutions.
As our Azure architecture leader, you will be developing and maintaining the direction, coordination, best practices and standards of various cloud solutions with a focus on the ability to efficiently reconfigure these systems to meet changing business needs. You will coordinate and develop cloud based Azure standards for hybrid cloud configurations, replication, orchestration, cloud integration techniques and change management for utilizing cloud services for the management of storage, compute, and network resources. Keeping your skills up to date and cutting edge will be required. You will be hands on technical projects and will be responsible for providing fundamental technical designs.
Essential Duties

Work with IT and business program managers and operations engineers to synthesize cloud platform offerings into first class solutions for RSM and will assist in directing our solution teams to realize these strategies. They will consult on these technology implementations and modification activities (for example, projects), particularly for new or shared cloud solutions. Consult on application or infrastructure development projects to coordinate systems or infrastructure with the enterprise, and identify when it is necessary to modify the standards to accommodate immediate or future business needs.

Work with the development teams to establish and maintain evolution of an enterprise cloud strategy, governance and standards in collaboration with various teams throughout the organization. Evaluate emerging cloud and infrastructure technologies

Looking forward, researching and developing cloud based strategies to support business and IT solutions. Develop technical documentation to roadmap and explain these strategies and how they fit into the overall IT and business strategies.

Analyze enterprise business context (trends and business strategy), as well as determine requirements in other enterprise architecture (EA) viewpoints, to derive the future state. This includes defining the requirements, and models that guide technology decisions for the enterprise with a 36 month outlook

Develop, ensure, and increase the speed of knowledge growth and platform maturity in cloud technologies with a focus on Azure to ensure consistent coding and configuration practices and consistent application of best practices

Collaborate with the appropriate teams to develop best practices around Cloud Security, Service Quality, Scalability, Privacy, Risk Mitigation, Capacity Planning, Disaster Recovery, Data sovereignty, Control and Monitoring. Establish, coordinate and maintain best practice cloud and emerging technology procedures, processes and policies.

Leadership and training, you will be a part of the firms IT leadership team and will attend the annual Tech Week leadership training with all IT leaders across the firm where leadership development is the primary focus of the agenda. You will also have the opportunity to hone and expand your technical skills through the appropriate training.
Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

Master's degree in computer science, information systems or other related field - preferred
Technical Skills

Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure Resource Management Azure SQL and Administration

Experience building on premise, off-premise and hybrid solutions

Strong conceptual, analytic, and expert problem solving skills

Strong understanding of cloud offerings, IaaS, Paas and SaaS

DevOps experience is a plus
