Long-term opportunity in Dallas working on an exciting project at one of my airline clients. I am looking for a Technical Team Leader that can drive a development team but also should be able to review code and write code so they can provide direct and the most relevant inputs to this team.
Immediate starts available (Interview process can complete in 1 week). Rates are negotiable and competitive, can work on C2C or w2 with full benefits.
Requirements:
- 10+ years experience with Java
- Experience as a Team Lead or Tech Lead on a Scrum Team Production experience with Java 1.8 or higher Strong understanding of a microservice architecture
- Experience designing APIs and implementing RESTful services
- Experience with Spring (examples: Spring Webservices, Spring Security, Spring IoC, SpringBoot, SpringBatch)
- Experience with Data Caching technology (preferably Gemfire; hibernate works)
- Strong knowledge of Git - preferably using Git Bash Strong Unix skills with experience in a scripting language (python is a plus, but many options here)
- Experience with automated integration testing as well as junits
- Experience with Continuous Integration, preferably using Jenkins
- Exposure to modern front end technologies like React or Angular
- Strong Communication and Time Management skills Daily Work includes code development, reviewing Pull Request, creating and documenting feature designs, estimating future work, providing technical direction to team
- Experience collaborating with Product Owner (and/or Business Analyst), Project Manager, and Scrum Master.
- Expected to commit code each sprint.
