JD :
- Produce technical specifications and software designs based on product requirements for a new innovative product platform in the payment industry.
- Responsible for end-to-end architecture, setup, development and implementation of the product.
- Work collaboratively with Business Analysts and Product Owners to ensure that functional requirements are met.
- Get involved in coding of critical components.
- Create and execute comprehensive Unit Tests(technical) on developed software
- Should be able to conduct Technical reviews and extensive code reviews.
- Support and maintain developed software endeavoring to meet agreed service level targets and quality objectives
- Identify risks associated with the platform and recommend means of mitigating these risks
- Develop innovative and creative solutions for the payment industry.
- Design, development and operations experience with highly-available, scalable, and secure systems
- Strong Hands-on programming experience in Java, JSON, XML, SOAP and frameworks(spring)
- Strong experience and expertise in PostGreSQL/other databases.
- Experience with J2EE Application Servers and Containers (administration, deployment, and/or development in Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, WebLogic, Spring, etc.)
- Primary responsibility consists of the architecture and design of a highly available, highly scalable system targeted towards handling transaction processing in the payment industry built around J2EE frameworks.
- Necessary background includes the design, development and commercial deployment of more than one high throughput system using Java, J2EE and any major database system.
- Experience in the payment industry is required. Knowledge of payment transaction processing is important
- Knowledge of Security, Logging, Auditing, Policy Management and Performance Monitoring and KPI
- Knowledge of OSS and linux is a great addon
