Kore1, Inc., the world leader in the recruitment of creative and information technology professionals, has an immediate Full-Time Financial Analyst opening for a Tech company with one of our clients in the Austin, Texas area.
The Financial Analyst will be a key member of the Operations and Business Excellence Finance team and responsible for support key business initiatives. The person in this role will have the opportunity to engage with stakeholders across multiple functions and business units across the globe.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Partner with the Operations team on day to day activities and initiatives, including cost benefit and inventory analysis
- Provides financial insight to teams in assessing risk and opportunities to achieving its financial commitments, including proactively establishing insightful analytics, and developing the right operational processes that enable groups to see around the corner and support cross functional alignment
- Analyze and publish key performance indicators vs. targets
- Partner with the operational teams to drive improvements and efficiencies
- Analyze product costs, and compile outputs and recommendations
- Support the quarterly/annual forecast processes including planning for spend, headcount, cost savings and investments by business unit
- Perform month end closing activities and conduct variance analysis
- Prepare financial presentations for operational reviews and other executive meetings
- Work closely with other members of our Global Finance & Accounting teams to ensure understanding, alignment and communication of the financial impacts of business activities and decisions
- Ensure global standardization and compliance with published Corporate, and IFRS/GAAP rules, policies, and procedures
- Supports ad hoc requests
What You Need:
- Bachelors degree in Finance
- Minimum of 4 years of finance experience
- Experience with Oracle or similar ERP system
- Working knowledge of HFM
- Ability to developing modeling in Excel preferred
- Ability to drive for results
- Proactive communication skills
- Ability to work in a Global environment
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively as a member of a cross-functional team
