SQL Integration Engineer at RentPath (Atlanta, GA)

RentPath is looking for a SQL integration Engineer to support our growing need to interconnect systems by transporting information through the use of advanced APIS and database development. You will be a key member of the Enterprise Applications team, focused on delivering team priorities and interact with key business stakeholders to help clarify objectives, review implementations, and deliver optimal solutions.

A Day in the Life

• You will create integrations between independent systems utilizing ETL/ESB tools and current RDBMS platform
• You will migrate from data for differing systems and produce extract files (CSV, XML, EXCEL)
• You will utilize a mixture of SQL, XML, and JSON, to interact with REST and SOAP APIs to build integrations and ensure data integrity.
• You will work with key business owners to understand requests and ensure requirements are met.
• You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, developing fixes and implementing resolutions for system issue
• You will be Debugging existing code and newly create integrations code to ensure optimal results.
• You will be involved in the development, testing, documentation, and implementation of SQL tables, view and stored procedures for Microsoft and Oracle
• You will work closely with business analysts, business owners, and team members to breakdown requirements and reach the best possible solution
• You will resolve Production errors, while maintaining, RentPaths change management processes  

What we need from you..

• Experience in integration development within a large enterprise environment with the ability to multitask on several different projects and application
  
• 4+ years of experience with SQL, stored procedures, and Database environments, and complex queries (preferably Microsoft SQL Server)
  
• 2+ years of XML, XSL, XSLT, XPath, XQuery development
  
• 1+ years creating or consuming web services (REST/ SOAP)
  
• 4+ years of software development experience
  
• Experience resolving Production errors, while maintaining change management processes  
  
• Experience generating and managing XML schemas and namespaces
  
• Experience in traditional ETL practices and workflows
  
• Familiar with the test-driven development processes
  
• Familiar with the agile development life cycle
  
• Excellent verbal communication skills
  

Nice to have:

·Past Cast Iron / MuleSoft development or other ETL tools.

·Java / Object Oriented Programming
