  Role Description


The Vendor Management Lead within the IT&S PMO and Vendor Management team is responsible for defining and implementing a robust and best-in-class vendor management competency at Dropbox. This is a hands-on Lead function and requires that you perform many of the Vendor Management functions. Responsibilities include maturing our current capabilities and building out other core competencies to include performance and risk management. Vendor Management Lead will be responsible for building out the competencies and skills of the team. This role requires a high degree of partnership with decentralized functions within and outside of IT&S.


Responsibilities



  • Design and implement the services strategy for service delivery

  • Build a vendor management framework and processes

  • Create and implement a performance management and risk management process

  • Build the methodology to measure and improve vendor performance

  • Build and lead strategic roadmaps and capacity forecasts

  • Reduce OpEx and optimize CapEx spend

  • Create vendor partnerships to drive innovation and optimize vendor performance

  • Build out analytics and reporting capabilities

  • Lead a team of sourcing and procurement specialists

  • Employment Type: Full Time 


Requirements



  • 10+ years in vendor management, enterprise service management, software asset management, supply chain or IT operations management

  • 5+ years as a lead with direct reports

  • Sourcing and procurement expertise

  • Depth of knowledge with contracts

  • Highly organized and able to work in a dynamic environment

  • Strong quantitative analytical skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and communication

  • Experience with Oracle ERP and SCM, Service Now, Zendesk and SAM tools

  • Program Management experience is a plus

  • MBA is a plus

  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited university or college in Business, Economics or Engineering preferred
