About Flocab Engineering

Were a collaborative, product focused team driven by our mission. We have a fairly standard product development workflow with retros, kickoffs, 2 week sprints, cross functional pods, Jira, etc. Some tools we use are heroku, AWS, python, django, javascript, React, Redux, mysql, postgres, and git.


About the Role

Flocabulary is looking for Full-Stack Software Engineers to develop our user facing product and the APIs that power it. As an engineer on a small, fast-moving team building an education app with millions of users, youll have an instant impact on teachers and students in classrooms around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Write clear, testable, maintainable code
  • Work with the product team to deliver features
  • Collaborate with the team to architect and document new systems
  • Code review, and architecture review
  • Fix performance problems and debug production issues
  • Participate in and improve on our on-call rotation
