Today it is above all IT-based innovations that are changing the world. This is reflected in our new IT Strategy. At our Daimler Trucks IT Department we are setting an increasing focus on some of our strategic topics which are: Cloud, Dev Ops, Agile Methods and AI.
As a Cloud Solution Architect you can expect the following tasks:
- Implement Big Data solutions on our Azure platform for our in-house business partners in various Daimler business elds.
- Design and implement highly saleable data pipelines. For example based on Apache Storm, Flink and Kafka.
- Design and implement DevOps system for high availability systems.
- Design / collaborate on Big Data storage concepts for changing and growing data structures.
- Collaboration and exchange with other Departments that are working on Azure based solutions.
- Some of the challenges are, the huge amounts of data that are generated in vehicles to supply an adequate storage and analysis solution or implement real-time requirements on large databases.
- You will work in an international and innovative team with numerous interfaces in IT and to our business units.
Qualifikationen
Qualifications:
- Azure know how on Big data, analytics and streaming components
- Solution design know how on big data & analytics architectures
- Completed studies in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related fields
- Several years of professional experience in architecture, system development and international IT projects
- Fluent in German and English with excellent written prociency
- Good communication and team-work
