.Net Developer at Headforwards (Pool, UK)

.NET Developer x 3

Are you a .NET Developer interested in greenfield development work? Do you want to do it in a company that promotes pair programming and mobbing to deliver the very best software?

In 2019 we’re building a market leading Electronic Records Management System (ERMS) to completely replace an existing product. This development requires the very best of intuitive UI design so that the implementation, configuration and usage of the system support a self-service model.

The solution will be built using the latest web architecture standards, including open APIs and a service-oriented approach. The system will need to be scalable, extendable while supporting multiple languages and locales. A key part of the system will be the secure storage, indexing and fast retrieval of records, it is anticipated that the system will store in excess of 80 TBs of documents.

The tech stack is expected to utilise a ReactJS front ends talking to a C# probably dotnetcore based back end. The database infrastructure is not as yet decided but it is expected that both NOSQL and MSSQL databases will be required. The production system will be hosted in the customer's datacentre with the team expected to take a lead in the design, specification and implementation of the production environment

We are 100 Developers from 18 different countries all now based in the same place. We’re a really friendly bunch, intelligent, inquisitive and we all want to do the right thing with software development. We work hard but we have an outstanding work-life balance and we’re very grateful for it, its one of the reasons our software is so good. We're fans of pair programming & mobbing and our modern offices are set up to enable teams to do this well. There are lots of other teams here, all working on their own different and unique applications. You’ll benefit from knowledge sharing with other teams, internal talks, communities of practice and our great social environment.

Not only will you get to work on this amazing build, but you will get to do it in the stunning county of Cornwall. Our offices are 5 miles from the beach and some of the most amazing coastline in the UK. Cornwall’s tech scene has been quietly growing over the last decade but momentum has really gained pace over the last couple of years. We are home to some fantastic companies all hiring great tech talent, and now, our airport is home to the UK's first spaceport in partnership with Virgin Orbit. Another great boost for Cornwall.

If this all sounds like something you want to be a part of then let’s talk soon!
