Puma Capital, LLC is a financial services company seeking a highly motivated person interested in working with electronic trading systems. We are looking for an experienced developer to build software using languages and technologies of the .NET framework. Your goal will be to work with internal teams to design, develop and maintain software.
Responsibilities
- Participate in requirements analysis
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
- Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
- Test and deploy applications and systems
- Revise, update, refactor and debug code
- Improve existing software
- Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
Requirements
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years in financial services as a proven .NET Developer
- Strong working knowledge of C#, WPF, and DevExpress
- 3+ years working with FIX protocol or other market data/order protocols
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- SOLID design principles
- Highly proficient with Multithreading and Concurrency experience
- Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, WCF, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC))
- MongoDB
- Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
