Key responsibilities:
We’re looking to hire an experienced DevOps engineer to help build capability in our LUSID platform, writing core business logic, enhancing our public APIs and continuously enhancing our testing coverage. In this role you will be responsible for developing and testing the Kubernetes Architecture.
What skills, experience and qualifications we require:
We're looking for a polyglot engineer with specific demonstrable experience with Kubernetes and software defined networking; calico/flannel/weave. We'd like to see 1year+ of Kubernetes experience from a DevOps perspective. Ideally this will have been gained with exposure to AWS and Terraform. Exposure to other cloud providers is also viewed favourably.
You would preferably have Golang and bash coding experience as well as telemetry on Kubernetes, but this is not essential. Our current telemetry stack consists of Prometheus, AlertManager, ElasticSearch, and Grafana, so exposure to these tools would be beneficial, although not necessary. LUSID; is a C# application, so exposure to this ecosystem would be helpful.
As important as your technical skills, we need developers who display strong communication skills and are comfortable working both independently and as a team.
