Solutions Architect
AppRiver is a leading provider of cloud-based security software using agile processes and modern technologies. We’re looking for a Solutions Architect for a full-time career opportunity. This challenging, technical position will be on a team responsible of the AppRiver Core Systems and cross cutting solutions implemented across the AppRiver application landscape. The position is an expansion position to enhance productivity of the existing core team. You can anticipate working with new, modern, cutting edge technologies on this team.
What we are looking for:
- 7+ years of software development experience with 3+ years leading system design
- 2+ years of experience leading projects or teams using lean/agile methodology (scrum, kanban)
- Strong planning, analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to scope discussions and effectively communicate solutions to different audiences at various levels of detail
- Strong background in distributed application architectures and network communications
- Literacy in many competing front-end and back-end patterns, frameworks, services, and solutions with the ability to weigh them against desired technical outcomes
- We expect you to have a great deal of technical expertise, but also a wealth of good ideas, the ability to communicate them well, and to champion them effectively
