Tenet3 is seeking a Frontend Developer to join our on-site team in Dayton, OH. As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for translating challenging requirements into a visually exciting, high performing, intuitive application that’s fun to use.
Essential Job Duties
You will implement a JavaScript, ReactJS, Material-UI, CSS, and HTML5 technology stack. Your emphasis will be on developing new JavaScript for enhanced user experience. You will be required to:
- Test, develop and maintain unique software modules
- Design, develop, test, enhance, debug, and implement software
- Troubleshoot production problems related to software applications
- Configure applications according to design specifications
- Participate in peer reviews of code written by other developers
- Participate in development of software documentation and user manuals
- Consult with project teams and end users to identify application requirements
- Assist in researching, testing, building, and coordinating the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements
- Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools
- Assist in resolving problems with software and responding to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
- Assist in preparing estimates for implementing new system enhancements
Skills/Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience with ReactJS as well as other browser-based technologies.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a rapidly changing dynamic environment; prioritize and multi-task across numerous work streams
- Self-directed, detail-oriented; ability to work with a team
- A solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, and usability and accessibility concerns
- Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
- Eligibility to establish and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
Education/Experience
Our preference is a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a similar discipline. One year of college education is equivalent to two years of relevant work experience. Four years of general computer programming is required along with two years of demonstrated JavaScript coding
