In this exciting role, you’ll have the opportunity to actively shape and develop new Media Technology & IT (MIT) services and products. You’ll implement and drive MIT services focusing mainly on software development and research and evaluate new concepts and patterns in the area of frontend as well as backend development.



  • Development


As Full Stack Software Developer you’ll implement business requirements actively with our development teams and drive implementation topics on your own. Thereby, you’ll become an expert in your area of work.



  • Research & Evaluation


Additionally, you’ll research and evaluate upcoming technologies and trends. You’ll improve our development patterns and workflows by introducing new concepts. Therefore, your interest in new things and your ability to accept change are crucial.



  • Quality Assurance


You’ll push quality limits by applying state-of-the-art QA concepts and challenge our services by defining, implementing and measuring KPIs. Moreover, you’ll understand operability and strive to lower MTTR constantly.



  • Team & Collaboration


You’ll work according to agile methodologies and become a strong team-member of a highly motivated development team. Furthermore, you’ll work closely with external development partners.


Your experience includes:



  • A minimum of 3 years of work experience

  • Overarching development skills reaching from frontend to backend, with focus on Angular JS, JavaScript, Typescript, Reactive Extensions, Spring Boot, Hibernate,…

  • Experience in writing robust, maintainable REST APis

  • Knowledge of SQL/NOSQL and familiarity with messaging systems

  • Good knowledge of HTTP, HTML and CSS

  • Awareness of state-of-the-art IT patterns and concepts (Twelve-Factor App, immutable patterns, self-contained systems, …)

  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and common build tools (gradle, webpack, gulp, …)

  • Basic knowledge of cloud technologies and concepts (Docker, Kubernetes, …)

  • Awareness of quality assurance concepts

  • University degree in Computer Science/Technology or equivalent IT education

  • Fluency in English, German preferred
