To strengthen our Delivery-Team in Zurich we are looking for a
Technical Lead Engineer – Digital Finance-as-a-Service offering
The additiv Technical Lead Engineer (TLE) is responsible for owning the overall design and technology of assigned technical projects as well as recommending the best technology approach for solutions based on clients’ business needs.
As a TLE, you are the liaison between the product manager and the software engineers in the development teams. You will lead a team of expert engineers to build high quality software with a strong focus on quality and usability in our Digital Finance-as-a-Service (DFaaS) offering. This is all based on our standard product use which is DFS 4.0 (Digital Finance Suite). You will undertake technical challenges, make technical decisions and support the team, such that everyone executes to their best of their abilities. You will focus on user experience, user journey and backend capability within our product offering, i.e. a full stack approach. Ideally, the TLE is engaged in best practice development initiatives, provides thoughtful leadership, and familiarity with cloud solutions that support our DFaaS strategy.

- Works effectively and individually with technical and non-technical team members and also directly with clients in terms of the technology context
- Shares similar mentality as the existing team members toward customer satisfaction and success and best use of our technology
- Oversees and has accountability for the successful completion of all aspects of assigned project work in terms of the software engineering
- Is able to exercise independent judgment of the software engineering and technology approach chosen
- Is able to effectively facilitate technical meetings, demonstrate brainstorming / consensus building skills, and interact with executive level project sponsors and scrum team members alike for technical advice and guidance
Who you are?
- Solid track record of software engineering in the financial industry
- Solid skills in the Microsoft technology stack with SQL Server, .NET, C#, TFS, GIT, CSS, HTML 5, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, JSON, RIA, XHTML, Angular, React, XML, SOAP, WCF, RESTFull, MQ, FIX, SMTP, SMS Service Gateway
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Wealth Management industry
- Deep experience in agile projects
- Good understanding of Robo Advisor and other technology-based investment platforms
- Fluency in English, any additional language a plus
- Able to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, but accountable for own area of work and tasks
- Willingness to travel occasionally
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- Minimum 5 years working experience in software engineering activities for software products to financial industry
