The Role
The Software Tester (QA) role is part of our Services team; the team responsible for building, running, and maintaining our services: Fit Predictor, Style Finder, and Outfit Maker.
What you'll be working on
- Actively participate in the development during the whole lifecycle of the project - starting from requirement clarification through design and even after release
- Perform regular manual and automated testing of our services
- Effectively check data quality using datasets with multiple millions of rows
- Use monitored data to provide insights to service quality along the KPIs
- Investigate and reproduce issues, reports, feedback from end users
- Test algorithms designed and implemented by our data scientists
- Improve your own and your fellow developers skills through design kick-offs, pairing sessions, and code reviews

You
As a member of a small team, you must be experienced in a number of areas to be productive from day one. Everything else is fair game and you will have the opportunity to learn on the job.
Must haves
- 1+ years in software testing, especially in testing web applications end-to-end - manual and automated tests
- Have worked in cross-functional teams
Bonus points
- You have QA experience - defining the processes along KPIs
- You have experience with monitoring and alerting tools to prioritize testing and impact of issues
- You used cloud services before (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- You have worked with TDD before
- You have worked with larger datasets and patterns in them
- You have worked in a startup environment before
- You have a notion of clean code and good coding practices
