You’ll play a critical role in building and scaling Dandelion’s platform for homeowner, installer, and business users. Our web based platform is a turnkey marketplace used at all stages of a geothermal project. Examples of the functionality include the ability to qualify incoming leads, present sales proposals and digitally sign contracts, manage project process flow during installation, provide geothermal system monitoring and controls, and provide general business analytics. Your role will be focused primarily on building new features and services that allow for improved usability as well as solving for growth and scalability.
Key Objectives
- Quickly ramp up your understanding of the existing feature set and code base
- Contribute to both front-end and back-end development
- Focus on building and releasing new features on a regular sprint schedule
- Contribute to identifying ways that we can improve our existing code in parallel with building new features
- Be capable of self-guided work once given clear direction
Experience
- Computer Science degree, or similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
- Demonstrated experience developing cloud based consumer facing products from early stage
- 3+ years of experience leading the process of transforming user needs into technical requirements and deployed features
- Technology experience; Node, Angular, Javascript, general server-side languages
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform is a plus
- Practical experience with modern source code repository and build management systems
Compensation
This is an on-site, full-time salaried position located in our New York office. Compensation commensurate with experience.
