Working for our Head of Design, you’ll work closely with the product and engineering teams to transform the company vision into beautiful, intuitive interfaces that reflect our brand.
You’ll be working on both our Quest Marine and Quest Motor products which are changing the game in the Commercial Marine and Motor Insurance markets. You’ll be self-motivated, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and excited to help out across other products and marketing as things crop up.

You might live in a ‘safe’ area with your car parked in a garage over night, but what if you spend all day driving around on congested motorways at a high risk of a crash? From an insurer’s point of view, shouldn’t your insurance premium reflect your daily behaviour rather than your demographic data i.e. where you live.
The fact is, behaviour is a much better indicator of risk than demographics and, working with some of the leading marine and motor insurers with our software Quest, we have proven this to be true.
Quest is a beautifully designed and intuitive interface with some seriously big data smarts under the hood. It pulls together multiple sources of industry data, combines that with an insurer’s own data and uses cutting edge analytics, developed by our in-house team, to derive new behavioural insights for our customers.
With series A investment under our belt, co-founders with previous start up experience and a clever and passionate team based in London and Delhi, we’re looking for exceptional people excited by our vision to help us make it happen.
Who you are:
We’re looking for someone who has proven experience in UI and UX who is excited about getting hands on with the entire scope of creating, implementing and overseeing the design of our products.
More specifically we believe you’ll be:
- Resourceful, dependable, proactive and an excellent communicator.
- An analytical and pragmatic thinker that can balance user needs against business needs and deadlines.
- The owner of a comprehensive online portfolio that demonstrates not only stunning visuals, but one that intuitively puts the user at the heart of the product.
- Very advanced in your understanding of visual design; typography, illustration, grids and layout.
- Well versed with industry standard software such as Sketch, Invision, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
We think you’ll also have:
- An ability to code prototypes in HTML & CSS and experience using JIRA and Confluence, but this is not absolutely necessary.
