This challenging, technical, development position will be on one of our feature teams responsible for our web and email security filtering applications. The position is an expansion position to enhance productivity of the existing feature team. The senior developer will play a central role helping to define the technical direction for the AppRiver flagship products. Primary job responsibility will be creating, maintaining, writing tests for and implementing new software applications.
What we are looking for:
- 8+ years of experience writing code
- Detail oriented and naturally organized disposition
- Leadership Experience
- Strong debugging, analytical and problem-solving skills
- C# experience
- Message oriented architecture experience (WCF, SOAP, REST, JSON, ServiceBus) and Service oriented architecture (SOA)
- Experience with Networking, DNS, email protocols, data streams and multithreading
- Cryptography, Software Security Best Practices and Scalability experience
- We expect you to have a great deal of technical expertise, but also a wealth of good ideas, the ability to communicate them well and to champion them effectively
