Job Description
Technical Operations (Acquiring) is one of our core departments in the PPRO organization. We are responsible to oversee our total customer facing operational side of our business. This includes, but is not limited to: ensure bug free operation of our payment products, level 3 technical support for our customers, Technical point of contact for our partners, driving innovation projects, monitoring and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Our TechOps managers are responsible for:
- Product performance monitoring and reporting, including 24/7 OnCall rotation
- Dealing with Level 3 technical support in cooperation with our support department
- Responsible for a sane technical Funds flow from a-z and monitor/mitigate potential problems
- Root cause analysis of possible product flaws & bugs, and the preferred/possible solutions
- Work closely with Product and Development departments to find & identify improvements our portfolio
- Spawn & drive internal TechOps innovation & improvement projects to improve our toolset
Qualifications
As a TechOps manager it is important you have a very diverse skill set, but not necessarily a full-blown expert at all of them. The ideal candidate has a proven skill set that combines knowledge and experience of the following traditional technical positions:
- System administrator
- Software developer
- Support or customer experience specialist
We are specifically looking for the following specs:
- Affinity and hands on experience with several operating systems
- Affinity and hands on experience with several programming languages\scripts
- Understanding of programming constructs and software process flows
- Communication and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail
- Analytical thinking
- Out of the box thinking
- Ability to apply forward thinking and make strategical decisions
Proven qualifications like Bachelor or MBA are a plus, but not required. Proven practical appliance and personal interest in the majority of the subject are a must.
