Job Description
Atlassian is looking for senior engineers to expand mission critical, multi-region, super high throughput and low latency platform microservices in Mountain View. As a team member you'll get to work on interesting technologies including non-relational stores, eventing and CQRS. You will collaborate with amazing engineers, product managers, designers, and architects both locally and around the world. The systems the team build are critical to Atlassian products, and they need to scale as Atlassian does. The team has plenty of challenging problems for you to take ownership of, requiring creative and forward-thinking solutions.
More about you
On your first day, we'll expect you to have:
- Minimum 7-10 years of hands on development experience
- Experience crafting, implementing and securing high-performance RESTful micro-services serving millions of requests a day
- Fluency in any modern object oriented programming language (e.g. Java, Golang, Python, JavaScript etc)
- Fluency in any one database technology (e.g. Mysql, Postgres, DynamoDB, Cassandra etc) with emphasis on scale
- Experience working with agile software development methodologies
- Passion for collaboration and strong interpersonal skills
And if you've got some of this, even better! (Preferred skills)
Experience with Identity and Access Management
- Familiarity with cloud architecture patterns
- Understanding of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS industry with various public cloud offerings (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
