Your new company
UBS is currently seeking a number of highly skilled Senior Java Engineers to work on a new front office equities trading platform in their Sydney CBD offices.
Your new role
Your new role will see you work on the next generation of trading applications to be used by the investment arm of this organisation. You will be working on a high capacity, low latency, transaction oriented system which is critical to UBS’s long term goals. In this role, you will be working within a multi-disciplined team while directly interacting with the future uses of this system and will be responsible for the designing, configuration, development and testing of said system.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need strong experience in the following:
- Core Java, data structures, algorithms and network programming
- Development of high performance, high capacity, low latency financial systems
- Development in a Unix/Linux based environment
What you'll get in return
You will be offered a long term contract with the potential to go permanent (if wanted) with UBS.
