Cloudistics is a modern private cloud platform, controlled and orchestrated from a SaaS console. We tackle fundamental infrastructure challenges such as software defined networking, high performance storage, security, and fault tolerant architecture to make private cloud possible for all businesses. We're looking for a talented Backend Engineer with strong network expertise (layer 2 and layer 3) to help us build and optimize our proprietary high performance network virtualization platform.
Job Functions:
- Our virtualized networking fabric is the glue in our platform. You will work across R&D, QA, and Support to develop and optimize the fabric to improve performance and feature coverage.
- You need to be comfortable as a subject matter expert: to take initiative and ownership of a problem area.
- Develop and promote our SDN and SDDC offering
Required Skills:
- Strong Networking foundation and troubleshooting skills
- Proven history of software design and development skills including C and C++
- Thorough knowledge of the TCP/IP suite of protocols
- Thorough knowledg of the Linux Kernel network stack
- Knowledge of open platforms like OpenDaylight and OpenFlow.
Education and Experience:
- BS in computer science or equivalent networking software development experience.
- Experience developing commercial networking software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
