Position Summary 

DocuSign is looking for a security engineer to join our Security Operations team, a critical part of our world-class Information Security organization . When documents contain highly sensitive information, you can’t afford to take risks. Protecting your data is DocuSign’s top priority. Responsibilities

• 
  
• Assist with security tooling architecture across corporate and production environments
• 
  
• Design, build and deploy security solutions using off-the-shelf products in combination with custom-built applications 
• 
  
• Proactively audit security infrastructure, identify problems and prioritize fixes
• 
  
• Work both on own initiative and with key stakeholders across DocuSign to build creative solutions and services that detect security issues and increase incident response capability
• 
  
• Implement security improvements by assessing current situations, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements
• 
  
• Work with the existing stakeholders to share knowledge and best practices
• 
  

 Basic Qualifications

• 
  
• B.S. or M.S. Computer Science or related field
• 
  
• 2+ years in a system administration environment
• 
  
• 2+ years in the information/cyber security field with a strong foundation in and in-depth technical knowledge of security engineering, computer and network security, authentication and security protocols and applied cryptography
• 
  
• Extensive and demonstrable experience in various aspects of Security technology infrastructure design and implementation, with experience in delivering projects within scope and budget
• 
  
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (C++, Python, Java, Ruby, etc.)
• 
  
• Knowledge of the latest attack trends, tools and the threat landscape
• 
  

 Preferred Qualifications

• 
  
• Hands-on experience configuring security policies, enterprise implementation, troubleshooting
• 
  
• Experience deploying, tuning, and customizing common security solutions such as: SIEM, IDS/IPS, web-proxy, FWs, Malware sandboxes, Forensic tools, etc.
• 
  
• Experience with Splunk administration and management
• 
  
• Hands-on experience with Splunk Cloud
• 
  
• Excellent communication skills on both technical and non-technical issues
• 
  
• Strong ability to document processes, procedures and security designs clearly and accurately for distribution to internal teams and customers
• 
  
• Knowledge and experience leveraging and integrating RESTful APIs into complex IFTTT-like workflows
• 
  
• Knowledge and experience of modern application architecture: REST/PaaS/Client-side development/No-SQL/etc.
• 
  
• Able to work out of San Francisco or Seattle offices
• 
  
• Has worked with a globally dispersed team
•
