Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking a highly motivated developer on the AutoCAD team for the development for modern desktop & web applications. The ideal candidate should have proven experience building fast, intuitive and stunning applications using the latest technologies.

Responsibilities 

• 
  
• Development of desktop & web applications
• 
  
• Active member of a highly skilled and motivated agile development team
• 
  
• Collaborate with extended scrum teams across worldwide engineering sites
• 
  
• Work with product owner & architect to maintain high quality code and architecture consistency
• 
  
• Estimate effort and schedule for projects undertaken and complete them on time, adhering to pre-determined specification and quality standards
• 
  

Minimum Qualifications

• 
  
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or equivalent. MSc is desirable
• 
  
• 5+ years' experience in software development
• 
  
• Solid familiarity with agile development processes and methodologies
• 
  
• Excellent C++ programming skills and experience on Microsoft Windows
• 
  
• Experienced in object-oriented design 
• 
  
• Experienced with Web development. e.g. Javascript, HTML5, Browser functionalities
• 
  
• Strong knowledge of OpenGL, WebGL, Emscripten & asm.js would be an advantage
• 
  
• Successfully completed two or more commercial software development cycles
• 
  
• Self-motivated, possessing initiative to get things done with minimal supervision
•
