Who You Are
You’re a seasoned engineer with 5+ years of experience. You don’t just enjoy writing code, you enjoy owning and shaping a technology product, working with product managers and designers on making that product grow. You’re comfortable on the back end, the front end, and querying a database, too. You work best in a casual work environment that is focused on excellence and giving engineers the freedom to do their best work.
What You’ll Do
Your average day at C Space might consist of writing code to implement a new feature, meeting with a product manager and designer in a standup to hash out some new requirements, and chatting with a junior member of the engineering team to give them advice on something they’re building. You’ll have time to get in the zone and write code and plenty of time to stay creative, too.
A Senior Software Engineer at C Space:
- Takes full ownership of building and maintaining our web and mobile software in collaboration with product owners, designers, and other stakeholders. You’ll own features and projects.
- Acts as a technical leader on the team, bringing a fresh take on our software and offering opinions on what we should be doing and how we should be doing it. If you’re interested, you could use your leadership role to manage 1-2 direct reports down the road.
- Helps keep the lights on as part of our continuous refactoring, maintenance and automation efforts.
