Role Description
We’re looking for our first Senior Frontend Engineer to help us build top-quality user experiences for our patients and our clinicians. You’ll be responsible for leading the effort to build first-class external (patient-facing) and internal (doctor-facing) web interfaces.
Funding:
We’ve recently raised $23 million in a Series A round from firms like GE Ventures, Kaiser Permanente Ventures, Illumina Ventures, and Canaan Ventures.
Responsibilities
- Lead our UI / UX efforts creating responsive front-end and mobile designs.
- Lead the way through mentoring, coding, and code reviews.
- Collaborate with clinical, product, and engineering teams on feature requirements and prioritization.
- Bring a designer’s concept to life with HTML, CSS, and Javascript
- Create tools that enhance how users see and interact with our site in any browser
- For products, design, develop, and maintain high-quality software.
- For prototypes and one-off projects, be willing to write scrappy code to get the job done.
- Contribute to the architectural vision and roadmap for information and systems.
- Make software architecture decisions that adeptly balance near-term agility and long-term maintainability.

Required Experience
- 5+ years of front-end experience, from application design through implementation.
- Experience in communicating with users and project managers to understand requirements, describe software product features, and technical requirements.
- Experience with (non-dogmatic) agile processes.
- Experience with front-end frameworks, such as Vue or React.
- Experience in popular client-side languages like JS, HTML5, CSS3, and AJAX.
