The Challenge:
Where do you go with your career when you have serious coding skills, but you dont want to write code all day? You hunt programming flaws as a software security evaluator. Software vulnerabilities can be problematic in any organization, but when its software the military uses, they can threaten national security. Thats why we need you - an experienced developer who knows how to hunt through functional code to find the flaws.
On our team, youll use your development skills to find flawed programming that could cause exploitable vulnerabilities and poor performance. Youll write scripts to evaluate object-oriented programming source code and, when you find flaws in the code, map those issues to the need it fails to meet. Your findings will go back to the vendor, letting them know they need to fix the software before the military can use it. Join our team and lets hunt down bad code!

You Have:
2+ years of experience with Web-based software development and object-oriented programming using Java
2+ years of experience with developing and integrating with DBMS, including Oracle using Java technologies and Object Relational Models
1 year of experience with configuring and maintaining a Java EE Web application server
Experience with using and maintaining build scripts to facilitate consistent builds, including Maven
Experience with performing and documenting software designs by creating sequence, class, communication, deployment, and activity diagrams
Ability to draft portions of technical documents, including software version descriptions, system design documents, and test scripts
Ability to be a motivated self-starter, learn quickly, spend personal time researching new software development and analysis tools and techniques, work productively with a team, and support client meetings and deliverables
Ability to travel to client sites up to 10-15% of the time throughout CONUS
Active Secret clearance required
BA or BS degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with performing Oracle Database administration
Experience with code development using IEEE or CMMI best practices
Knowledge of Scrum or other agile development methodologies
Ability to use issue tracking tools, including JIRA or Confluence
Ability to use and configure Continuous Integration, including Jenkins
Ability to use and configure Virtual Machines, including VirtualBox or VMware
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Possession of excellent problem-solving skills
TS/SCI clearance
BS degree in Computer Science, EE, or a related technical field preferred; MS degree in Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or related field a plus
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and will need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
