Calypso Technology is seeking a Calypso Cloud Security Manager (CCSM). This will be an exciting, challenging job with real responsibility and the possibility to work with some of the best technologists and financial minds in the industry in a startup entity within a thriving mature company.
The CCSM, under supervision of the team’s director, will work in collaboration with several Calypso department, (Engineering, HR, System, Calypso cloud service team) to not only enrich and validate existing Information Security Policy and procedures, but also to carry out IT risk assessments and to implement technical improvements to prevent and detect any threats.
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years in relevant post qualification experience, with at least three (3) years of demonstrated IT infrastructure implementation and management gained in the capital markets industry working for a public or private cloud provider or software vendor/consultancy.
The CCSM will be responsible for protecting Calypso Cloud Services IT resources and information assets by:
Ensuring strategic alignment of information security in support of business objectives;
Ensuring availability, confidentiality, integrity, auditability of the Calypso cloud information systems;
Ensuring continued availability of the Calypso Cloud Services information systems;
Ensuring reduction of adverse impacts on the Calypso Cloud Services business operations to an acceptable level;
Ensuring conformity of applicable laws, regulations and standards;
Preventing non-repudiation of computer based activities.
Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain a framework to provide assurance that information security strategies are aligned with business objectives and consistent with applicable laws and regulations.
Propose and elaborate the information security strategy in support of the Calypso Cloud Service business strategy and direction.
Together with Calypso legal department, identify current and potential legal and regulatory issues affecting information security and assess their impact on Calypso Cloud Services.
Establish and maintain information security policies that support business goals and objectives.
Develop systematic, analytical and continuous risk management process.
Ensure that risk identification, analysis and mitigation activities are integrated in projects and processes life cycle.
Identify and analyze risks through suitable and recommended methods of Information Security Program Management Design, elaborate and manage information security program to implement the information security governance framework.
Ensure that the rules of use for information systems and the administrative procedures for information systems comply with the Calypso Cloud Services information security policies.
Ensure that services provided by other Calypso departments, including outsourced providers, are consistent with established information security policies.
Design, elaborate and implement processes for detecting, identifying and analyzing security related events.
- Ensure that Calypso Cloud Services (CCS) is aware and trained about regulatory compliances. Monitor and propose necessary changes for CCS policies and procedures. Monitor regulatory requirements for security and privacy in the regions of CCS activity and potential interests, inform about this requirement senior management in timely manner.
- Collaborate in Calypso cloud clients and presales security risk assessment (Workshop, RFP, RFI, client’s security Audit)
Requirements:
Minimum of a Master's Degree in MSc in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
Analytical and technical skills, and knowledge in all aspects of computer security in multi IT areas: database, development, network, operating systems, IT security, specific applications security, Identity Management System, authentication application, etc.
- Good technical knowledge and experience across multiple platforms and technologies: Windows, Unix, Linux, networking, applications concepts, databases; wide area networks; computer operations, Intranet/Internet, LAN/WAN Connectivity with good knowledge of firewalls, switches and routers.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with private or public cloud provider, with good knowledge of new technology offered on this type of platform (Docker, Jetty, mongo Db, Hadoop, Kafka, noSQL, HyperV, Pulsar, Spark...) is appreciated.
Good technical knowledge and experience in defining access and authorization controls within financial critical applications. Knowledge of Identity management system (authentication and authorization management system) is appreciated.
Good technical knowledge and experience in Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery plan areas
Good knowledge of risk management processes
Good knowledge and understanding of Security framework (ISO27xxx), IT framework management (COBIT), IT Audit and current legal and regulatory requirements (mainly EU or US) relating to information security and privacy.
Demonstrable experience with networks and systems involved in keeping an organization secure. (Vulnerability scans (internal, external...), Penetration testing). Implementation of additional technologies on the level of security.
Excellent written and verbal communications in English
