Job Title: Software Developer C/C++
Location: This position would be based out of our office in Stuttgart
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new features for our software ITbrain on all commonly used platforms (Windows®, Mac OS X®, Linux®, iOS®, Android®,…)
- Optimize and enhance our software with new, efficient algorithms and modern software technologies
- Work independently on solutions for specified requirements and will be responsible yourself for complying with time and quality specifications
- Ensure that our software is stable and runs efficiently on many different systems (more than 200 million installations)
- Monitor the latest technical developments in your field and make proposals for improvement on the basis of your current state of Knowledge
Critical Skills & Qualifications:
- University degree in the field of IT, software technology or training as an IT specialist with relevant professional experience
- You have very good programming skills in C/C++ as well as in modern OO programming techniques and OO design and ideally QT
- Experience working with various libraries (STL, Boost, etc.)
- Knowledge of modern tools such as Jira, Git, Visual Studio, Jenkins
- Experience in one of the following areas would be an advantage: Parallel programming, network communication, distributed and scalable systems, data compression
- Excellent English language skills and German
Behavioral Skills:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, and experience working in an international and interdisciplinary environment
- Advanced quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
- Ability to respond independently to complex inquiries
- You have good team and communication skills, enjoy working in an agile environment
