Key Qualifications:
Have a passion for Big Data technologies and a flexible, creative approach to problem solving
Ability to follow technical conversations
Confidence to drive and manage large conference calls across multiple timezones with cross functional teams
Sense of urgency, professionalism and drive for results and resolution
Experience with Big Data technologies is a plus
Excellent problem solving skills
Aptitude to independently learn new technologies
Solid understanding of ITIL, specifically Incident Management Module

Description:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Lead technical and non-technical teams through incidents from identification through resolution and root cause analysis. Effectively communicate to both technical and non-technical customers the state of the system. Identify and guide teams to troubleshoot and resolve recurring platform issues. Work cross functionally to identify and document best practices and standard operating procedures driving.

In this role you will be asked to lead through ambiguous incidents and issues on a newly developed big data system working with cross functional teams. The expectation is that you will be able to influence across all leadership levels of the business and provide guidance and direction when you may not have all the facts or data points. Teams across the organization are relying on the solutions we provide to make critical decisions with system availability being paramount to the success of many groups throughout the company with the ability to work weekends and holidays as required.

Education:
BS or MS in Computer Information Systems/Business Information Technology or similar preferred, equivalent work experience will be considered.
