CUE uses high-frequency, inaudible audio signals to transmit data via any sound-based media, allowing for customizable second-screen experiences and offline/network-free data transfer.
This position will assist in the maintenance and design of the crowd-sourced light show application for our NBA/NHL/NCAA clientele.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop new apps and features utilizing our ultrasonic communications protocol.
- Develop new crowd-sourced light show features on Android
- Maintain existing (10+ identical) Android apps.
- Write thorough documentation.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Expertise with Java and Obj-C/Swift
- Familiarity with MySQL
- Experience with real-time audio, multithreading, and Fast Fourier transforms (FFT)
Qualifications That Would Be a Plus
- Familiarity with the C++ language
- Familiarity with Digital Signal Processing
- Experience with Web Design (frontend/backend)
- RESTful principles and API design techniques
- Experience developing for iOS
