Android Developer

Pinn is looking for an expert in the Android development who is interested in biometric authentication and cyber security domain. The role will be responsible for designing and creating mobile applications and systems, product deployment, and client SDK packaging. The ideal candidate will be motivated to research and develop technical solutions that can contribute to our advanced mobile methodologies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years’ experience with Deep skills in Android Development including bringing apps to fruition and on-store in the Google Play Store to a large user base audience.
- Strong ability and knowledge in Android Development tools and methods including: Gradle, Android Studio, UI Layout, Intents, Services, Fragment usage, and lifecycle.
- Java skills including being familiar with new language features, object oriented-design patterns, and also how to optimize Java in Android.
- Extensive knowledge of Android platform SDK as well as commonly applied 3rd party and open sourced libraries.
- Experience with REST APIs and creating clients for them and understanding how to apply best-practice for interacting with remote services.
- JSON data familiarity
- Connected application architecture and a good understanding and experience with end-to-end
- Experience working with application designers aiding in development from early design to integration of assets and final product.
- Knowledge and experience of integration of a variety of tools like internal, third party, and open source technology.
- Skills in common dev tools (GNU, Git, Jira, Make, Confluence, etc) and methodologies (Scrum, Agile, etc)
- Familiarity with design/analysis of algorithms and data structures.
PREFERRED
- Android System images, experience and knowledge of customizing them
- Experience/knowledge of Android Automotive app development
- Experience with Kotlin, including interoperability with android java code
- IOS Development, including Xcode, Swift, and Objective-C
- Experience creating and maintaining user interfaces in code and storyboards as well as the ability to lead innovation and best-practices for User Interfaces.
- IOS Lifecycle experience
- IOS platform SDKs knowledge.
- Implementation of REST services
- Experience with web front-end and focus on modular systems with high performance
- Networking and distributed systems knowledge.
- Understanding of industry standard best practices
- Experience in a startup and growth-stage environments
- Demonstrate leadership qualities and sensitive to the needs of a small and rapidly growing company
- Self-starter who is excited about technology and able to work effectively independently or in a team setting
