Our search
We are looking to add a Senior, hands on C# .NET Developer that is seeking to work in a FinTech, Front Office environment building out new functionalities across large distributed systems for our Global Investment Banking client. This is an exciting long-term (2 year) project with an expediential opportunity to take lead and also look at growing a team.
Our requirements
To be successful in this role, applicants must know basic concepts very well, such as; C# .NET frameworks. Aligned to the basic concepts, applicants must have a deep understanding of collections, (.NET collections), algorithms, multi-threading network communications and performance optimization.
Business domain knowledge
People coming from a Pricing and Trading background that understand Order Flows, or have worked in Equities/Options will be highly suitable for the role, however people without a finance background are strongly encouraged to apply.
Skills required
- Minimum of 8 years’ hands on coding experience with C#
- Extremely strong basic concepts knowledge at Expert level in C# .NET Frameworks
- Strong knowledge of collections, algorithms (time & complexity)
- Strong Multi-threading experience
- Experience working in a fast paced environment
- Pricing, Trading Front office, Equities/Options background desirable
- Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset
- Looking to learn and embrace new modern technologies with a proactive approach
- Team player must be able to collaborate and work as a unit
- Problem solver, you've got to be able to work things out and make things happen!
