Toyota Motorola Corporation is a household name that is paving the way in innovative technology within the Automotive Industry. 

Toyota is currently looking to fill a Mobile Software Development Specialist vacancy through Hays, for a 12 month contract with a strong possibility for extension. The role is based in Port Melbourne, and will be working within the Connected Vehicle Services Division. This division focuses on Automotive Multimedia, and the connectivity with Mobile Phones, Applications, and Companion Applications. 


This role will focus strongly on multiple applications associated with vehicular multi-media, as well as mobile applications. You will join a high performing team, working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders (including stakeholders based overseas). You will be a valued member of the team and will regularly contribute to the creative process, ensuring Toyota maintains its position as an innovator in its space. 


The ideal candidate will have a full-stack software development background, with extensive experience working on Native iOS and Android applications.You will have experience with Java, Swift and C#, and will be well versed in scripting languages such as Shell Script, Python, Perl, etc. You will have exposure to cloud technologies such as Azure/AWS, will be able to navigate CI/CD, and will have exposure to testing. Experience within the Automotive industry or within Infotainment will be highly regarded.
