Information Security Architect Application Development at Recruiting in Motion (Atlanta, GA)

Recruiting in Motion is seeking a talented Security Architect in the area of application security. This applicant must be highly motivated to meet project deadlines, architectural and, technology challenges.

Specific area of expertise will be needed in the area of securing application development using the principles associated with DevSecOps, through the development of policies, standards, procedures and technical solutions.

What You Will Do:

• Managing vulnerability scan results of applications to remediation

• Developing a security strategy for secure application code development in the areas of:

• Java

• .NET

• Work with IT, Information Security, and business partners to Develop Policies, Standards and procedures in support of a defined application security strategy

• Design and implementation of information security systems that supports Information Securitys roadmap and overall direction

• Build out of security designs, standards and procedures to support the security architecture strategic roadmap

• Conduct risk assessments of enterprise initiatives, including external service providers and suppliers

• Monitored industry security updates, technologies and best practices to improve corporate information security

• Assisted in the execution of, and response to, regulatory changes affecting information security. Follows up on developed compliance plans to ensure completion

• Provide assistance incident response team for threats for computer/network forensics investigation

What We Need:

• At least 5 years of solid professional work experience in Information Security including Security Architecture
• Strong knowledge of industry standards such as NIST, ISO etc.
• Ability to develop departmental security strategy in the area of Application Security
• Strong knowledge of program languages including:
• Strong knowledge of security best practices for application code development
• Proven ability to implement security technical solutions
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Identifying and Considering Alternatives
