Cloud Software Engineer Job Description
The Software Engineer for cloud development is responsible for designing and implementing the clients platform, systems and services leveraging public clouds.
Responsibilities & Duties:- Be able to design, build and implement robust cloud-based applications
- Be able to quickly implement cloud-based proof of concepts
- Work closely with cloud vendors on technical implementations
- Collaborate with core platform teams on integration of cloud services for deployment
- Understand DevOps principles for continual integration, deployment, scaling and operations
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud technology
- Experience with cloud technology - AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience with microservices architecture, development, deployment, and testing
- Familiarity with container or virtualization technologies
- General understanding of security concepts such as identity management
- Programming languages such as Java/JavaScript, Go, Python or Scala
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and asynchronous and concurrent systems
- Experience with Agile development practices
