- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
- Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes
- Proficiency in modern programming languages J2EE,Java,Python,JSON, XML,XSD, JAXB Cloudera, Hadoop, Spark, Scala, Cassandra, HIVE, Kafka and Responsible for design and development of integration solutions with Hadoop/HDFS, Real-Time Systems, Data Warehouses, and Analytics solutions.
- Keen understanding of financial control and budget management
- Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
- Leading a high performance team of core big data framework developers in areas of data ingestion, data distribution, data enrichment, security etc. Mentoring technical development team on optimal utilization of Big Data solutions and Apache Open Source Software.
- 7+ years experience with full development lifecycle from inception through implementation. Responsible for end to end software Design & Development of common frameworks and components that are leveraged by multiple work streams across CCB RFT projects.
- Leveraging new and emerging practices for Enterprise Data Architecture. Engaging in enterprise-level systems component design and implementation. Working knowledge of at least a few of the common frameworks like Spring, Apache, Hibernate or similar ORM tools
- 3+ years experience with Hadoop ecosystem technology stacks as HDFS, HBase, Hive, Pig, Spark, MapReduce, Cloudera etc. Strong experience in using Eclipse, Maven, Jenkins, GIT, JIRA, HP AML, Control M or equivalent tools
