Storage Engineer at Intercontinental Exchange (Atlanta, GA)

Job Purpose
We are looking for a Storage Engineer to join our enterprise storage team which is responsible for SAN, NAS, CAS and backup engineering and administration.
Responsibilities

• Storage allocation to Linux, windows, ESX and other hosts from HDS, VMAX, VNX and 3PAR arrays following policies and best practices

• Good understanding of storage and arrays and SAN architecture, fiber channel, networking

• Production support all the storage systems, work on incident tickets, vendor co-ordination for break-fix activities, work closely with system administrator resolve H/SW issues and performance concerns

• Periodically go on call to provide 24/7 support

• Participate in change management, incident management and root cause analysis

• Documents processes and takes ownership
  

Knowledge And Experience

• 3+ years of experience managing large enterprise storage systems with large Hitachi HDS VSP/G1000/G1500, DELL/EMC VMAX/VNX, HP-3PAR, Brocade SAN switches/Directors

• Proficient with storage management tools like HCS, Tuning Manager, Unisphere Manager , BNA

• Proficient with storage replication technologies like HUR, TrueCopy, SRDF, storage virtualization, migration tools

• Experience working with Linux, Windows and VMware environments

• Good communication skills, flexible and multitasking

• Comfortable working in high pressure demanding environments

• Competent in data gathering & analysis, problem solving, conceptual thinking, attention to detail, use of technical expertise, initiative, and works well on a team

• Experience with scripting/programming and automation of storage allocation / management/monitoring tasks
