The Role

As a Software Developer in our Technology Group, you will develop well-designed, efficient and reliable code that transforms advanced engineering concepts into platforms and products. You will leverage your skills and passion for emerging technologies such as Machine Learning, AI, Cloud, IoT, and Edge Computing to drive AspenTechs Asset Optimization strategy by developing ground-breaking software solutions for modeling and analytics of process manufacturing.

Your Impact

• Design, develop, maintain, and support innovative modeling and analytics software applications
• Collaborate with customers, product managers, designers and developers to understand customer needs and translate them into product requirements and specifications
• Investigate new and developing technologies as they appear in industry and academia and determine how to leverage these new technologies into our software applications

What Youll Need

• Bachelors in Computer Science; Masters preferred
• 3+ years of software development experience
• Experience with C++, C#, Python
• Familiarity with big data, machine learning, IoT and cloud technologies
• Problem-solving ability and attention to details
• Knowledge of Agile development processes
• Demonstrated history of working well in groups
• Excellent communication skills
