SharePoint Administrator
The SharePoint Administrator is responsible for day-to-day operations and management of several SharePoint 2013 and 2016 farms. This person is responsible for working with members of the SharePoint team to create sites, manage permissions, troubleshoot correlation IDs, update third party tools and software, perform SharePoint updates, coordinate server maintenance and work with various teams in IT to ensure a stable SharePoint service. Ability to effectively communicate, investigate, analyze, document, and correct reported defects by team members and customers.
Major Responsibilities
Assisting with SharePoint 2016 upgrade and migrations
Oversee the SharePoint web farm infrastructure, user permissions, and solution designs
Support the installation, configuration, security, operation, and maintenance of the SharePoint environment including architecture, content database management, capacity planning, patch and reboot management
Execute, participate, and provide recommendations and analysis for proof-of-concept or other specific SharePoint projects
Plan and execute tasks related to new site creation, upgrades, and/or integration with other systems
Analyze and provide support for implemented SharePoint services and features including but not limited to Metalogix content migration tools; Nintex workflow and forms
Compile reports on health and monitoring of SharePoint for disk space, backups, site usage, etc
Manage Disaster Recovery processes, procedures, and configuration for the SharePoint farm
Handle escalated Help Desk tickets
Provide support for SharePoint application services, Office web apps and SSRS in integrated mode
Required Qualifications/Competencies
5+ years administrator experience with SharePoint 2010/2013/2016, Project Server 2013, Windows Server 2012/2016, IIS and SQL server 2012/2014/2016
Office web apps & Office online server
SSRS in SharePoint integrated mode
Must be fully conversant with Domain Name Systems (DNS) and working knowledge of Active Directory (AD)
Must have a thorough understanding of SharePoint farm architecture, installation, and configuration within a highly complex infrastructure
Must have knowledge of SharePoint Central Administration web application and SharePoint PowerShell commands
Must have working knowledge of Metalogix Migration Manager, Nintex Forms and Workflow, SharePoint Designer and InfoPath
Must have a solid understanding of SharePoint security including Active Directory groups, SharePoint groups and site collection structures
Must have working knowledge of SharePoint out-of-the-box functionality, SharePoint web services, and SharePoint interactions with Microsoft Office
Must be familiar with tools such as; Nintex Forms and Workflow, Bamboo web parts, InfoPath and SharePoint Designer
Experience with W/F5 load balancing
