Data Management Platform Project Manager at Aquent (Atlanta, GA)

The DMP Product Manager will help our clients efforts to identify and implement a data management platform (DMP) and own the product usage & democratization following implementation. The role will be instrumental in helping build a cohesive strategy in order to select a DMP and implement it within clients digital ecosystem. 


The PM will collaborate with key stakeholders across various divisions to bring business & IT requirements to life throughout the vendor selection, implementation, and beyond. Following implementation, the PM will be responsible for reporting on the impact of the tool in the digital channels and how it ladders back to project goals. 


They will also define the DMP strategy and roadmap on an ongoing basis and be a champion for the platform, working to surface new opportunities to help better leverage disparate data assets. This role will be crucial in driving the overall success of the program and continue to proactively provide strategic recommendations to help refine and enhance our efforts to meet goals. The role reports into the Manager of Digital Marketing Technology & Personalization.


Job Qualifications:

  • 3 5 years of experience in the digital media, analytics, or marketing technology landscape with hands-on DMP experience required
  • Prior experience leading implementation strategy for the tool into web and mobile properties; experience with hands-on, technical implementation of a DMP is a plus
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, Angular, NodeJS, or other JS frameworks preferred
  • Experience developing customer segmentation strategies and using segmentation to build audiences in partnership with different teams and agencies across marketing channels
  • Ability to analyze audience data and campaigns in order to identify key insights in conjunction with analytics teams
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to rapidly learn new data assets
  • Understanding and experience with various marketing cloud tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Adobe Marketing/Experience Cloud tools


Responsibilities:

  • Build strong working relationships across multiple business groups and IT Teams supporting the initiative to ensure timelines and goals are aligned
  • Provide subject matter expertise to internal business and IT teams as well as implementation best practices
  • Partner with internal and agency teams to collaborate on the development of testing capabilities across DMP segments
  • Discover data ecosystem gaps and surface opportunities for collaboration and integration
  • Partner with key internal and agency teams to lead DMP improvement roadmap
