Broad sweeping project; crosses across at least 6 of the corporate domains and leveraged on the back end by several applications. One important project, building a brand new trade compliance rules engine. B2B
Reason for Job Opening: Backfill- bring on an extra set of hands, quickly to fill vacancy while searching for a full time candidate.
Must Haves (3):
- Great communication- accustom to working with lots of different teams for the project; has a project manager on the team to assist with this as well
- Leverage user stories and back log to further development
- Cloud technologies/SAAS offering technologies- does not expect extensive experience but familiarity and understanding
- BDD is a huge plus.

Description: Act as requirements project lead for medium to large projects, directing and coordinating requirements project staff and activities. Oversee production support of core projects, including gathering and documenting requirements, translating functional requirements to technical requirements, and identifying options. Partner with business users and act as a liaison between business and technical teams. Coordinates development, testing, and implementation of solutions with vendors.Qualifications: Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst with track record of delivering business process requirements and use cases is required. Solid experience and understanding of Agile Scrum and Rational Unified Process Methodology in developing use cases, use case model, supplementary requirements, and business rules is essential. Solid understanding of relevant business issues. Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, decision- making and conflict resolution skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong knowledge of MS Project, Excel, MS Word, and iGraphx or Visio Drawing tools along with general familiarity with Outlook and other MS Office applications is also required. The following is preferred but not required: Experience managing multiple large, complex and cross-functional projects, with emphasis on systems, technologies, business process redesign, and knowledge of technical environments, a background in the financial services industry, BA/BS degree and/or PMP certification.
Knowledge of the financial industry is a must. Knowledge of trading platforms and trading related application is preferred, financial compliance knowledge will be plus.
Demonstrated experience in collaborating with business and technical teams to understand requirements.
Ability to analyze data, data flow and generate data mappings to provide business solutions.
Experience in doing impact analysis and understanding data changes in upstream/downstream systems.
Solid experience and understanding of Agile using Scrum Methodologies.
Prior experience in Behavior Driven Design (BDD) is a plus.
Experience and working knowledge of Web Applications, Databases, Web Services, Java, feed processing technologies.
Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, decision- making and conflict resolution skills.
Strong knowledge of MS Project, Excel, Word and Visio, UML tools, Wire framing tools, Requirements management tools & SDLC tools.
Working experience in Atlassian tool suite; Jira and Confluence are a must.
