Job Description

Radiant Solutions has an exciting opportunity for innovative software developers to assist in the revamp of how radar image processing is done for the Government by developing applications that take advantage of the cloud. The work involves re-architecting existing apps to be implemented in a Python-based horizontally scalable framework, updating both the software and underlying algorithms as needed to perform efficiently. In addition, new apps will be implemented from the ground up as our algorithm scientists design cutting-edge capabilities. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to:


Engage professionally with individuals of any rank/grade/position across IC and DoD

Work on diverse tasks with the software development team and customers to elicit, analyze, and verify new requirements and enhancements.

Assist meeting/briefing support, if required.  


Minimum Qualifications:


  • U.S. Citizen, TS/SCI clearance
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with a BS in Computer Science or related discipline; or 3 years' experience with an MS in Computer Science or related; or a PhD in Computer Science or related discipline, without experience; or equivalent work experience.
  • Python expertise and associated experience developing, maintaining, deploying, and updating operational / customer-facing applications


Preferred Qualifications:


  • TS/SCI with polygraph
  • Experience manipulating large (multi-terabyte) datasets efficiently
  • Past experience integrating 3rd party code into an existing codebase
  • Experience with a horizontally scalable framework such as Apache Spark or MPI
  • Scientific programming experience using packages such as NumPy or SciPy
  • Experience with deploying resilient applications to AWS using Amazon services and open source frameworks
  • Experience with benchmarking, analyzing performance, and optimizing computationally-intensive workloads
  • Prior experience with radar imagery
  • Familiarity with C++ and/or Matlab
  • Experience working in an agile team environment
